QDN’s work centres around a strong network of people across Queensland and almost 30 peer support groups that inform, connect, lead, and influence change.
All our work is focused on disability rights and advocacy, and we believe there should be “nothing about us without us”.
QDNs activities, programs, and projects bring together Queenslanders with disability to forge relationships, build knowledge, lead change, and influence policy to build a more inclusive Queensland.
About Our Work
QDN engages with members and allies to inform our positions across the key areas that are important to people with disability. QDN also provides submissions, representation and feedback to a range of Local, State and Commonwealth Government policy initiatives through active engagement with members.
About Our Advocacy
QDN holds many events, forums, workshops and Peer Support Group meetings throughout the year.
About Our Events
Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) is a not-for-profit and state-wide organisation of, by, and for people with diverse disability. We believe there should be ‘nothing about us without us’
All our work is focused on disability rights and advocacy, and is centred around a strong network of people across Queensland and almost 30 peer support groups which inform, connect, lead, and influence change.
We are a vibrant, active network of influencers, decision-makers, spokespeople, consultants, group members and peer leaders with a drive to make change happen. We also work on projects that align with our vision and mission around important issues in the lives of people with disability.
We believe it’s important to work together with communities, services, business, industry and government to lead and influence change.
Our network is made up of people living with a disability, those who support our mission, and businesses who support our community.
